SOME OF THE REGION’S FINEST ARTISANS
gather at the John Harris-Simon Cameron Mansion to present their traditional/heritage works, such as pottery, folk art, weavings, tin and tole ware, painted boxes, leather and soap, papercuttings, word carvings, painted floor cloths, fabric Santas and Belsnickles, miniature log houses, Shaker boxes, and much more.
The Holiday Market is held in conjunction with the city’s premier holiday house tour but is building an audience on its own merit. House tour ticket holders are admitted free. Tickets for non-tour goers is $5. The mansion is decorated in traditional style and Santa may even make an appearance.
Artisans wishing to be considered for this juried show may send three clear digital pictures of their work to firstname.lastname@example.org. At that time, artisans will receive all of the needed information to consider as entries are judged. Space is limited, so we choose the best work in appropriate media. We’d loved to consider your work!
The Holiday Market is held in the public rooms of the National Historic Landmark John Harris-Simon Cameron Mansion 1766/1863/1929, a tour de force of eighteenth-, nineteenth-, and early twentieth-century architecture and style.
The Alexander Research Library is open from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
