![]() Major Charles Coatesworth Rawn From "Family Albums of Harrisburg": A son of Charles Coatesworth Pinckney Rawn and Frances Peacock Clendenin, of this city (Harrisburg), Major Rawn served most of his mature life in the United States Army. He entered the service soon after his graduation from Princeton. Fighting in the West under General Custer, Major Rawn was cited for bravery in the Little Big Horn engagement. He married Miss Isabel Nauman, of Lancaster. They had a daughter, Miss Margaret Rawn, of Lancaster. Major Rawn was an uncle of Mrs. Carl W. Davis, of River Road, near Rockville. |
