A Report of Findings and Recommendations of the Charter Commission of the City of Harrisburg was published March, 1969. The report describes the existing form of government, the proposed mayor-council form, the council-manager form, recommendations, and a proposed charter. 2 copies.


The Commission was created by a vote of the people at the general election in November 1968. The duty of the Commission was to study Harrisburg's existing form of government, compare it with the two optional forms available and recommend to the voters which form best suits the city's needs.
