The collection contains the commission granted to Isaiah Schninky by James Pollock, Governor of the Commonwealth, designating him First Lieutenant of the Lykens Valley Cavalry of the Uniformed Pennsylvania Militia, Third Brigade of the Fifth Division, composed of the militia from Dauphin, Lebanon, and Berks Counties, 1855.
