The mission of the HSDC is to collect, preserve, exhibit, publish, and promote interest in the history of Dauphin County for the education, enjoyment, and benefit of the public.

Announces New Hours Beginning March 1
The Historical Society of Dauphin County and the John Harris-Simon Cameron Mansion, willincrease weekend hours available to the public for tours and research. The schedule will change on March 1, 2016 to the following:
Tours of the Harris-Cameron Mansion will be available:
Tuesday - Friday at 1:00, 2:00 and 3:00 p.m.
Saturday - 11:00 a.m., 1:00, 2:00 and 3:00 p.m.
2nd and 4th Sunday of the month - 1:00, 2:00 and 3:00 p.m.
Research Library will be open:
Tuesday - Friday from 1:00-4:00 p.m.
2nd and 4th Sunday of the month from 1:00-4:00 p.m.
HSDC Office Hours will be - Tuesday through Friday - 10 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
