[?] for his check on the Harrisburg Bank Fees $30.00 in full for my Profl services in the case of [?] Jennings & Woods for [?] Charley Kelley Fee $5.13 in full for defending him at last April [?] for Fornication and Bastardy of Mrs. Susan Bradley (col? woman wife of the Barber Bradley) Fee $5.00 in relation to some difficulty about her husband being too intimate with an Elizth Harris she was accompanied by one Mary Fyatt sister of John Fyatt who has been sued for slander for letting what he saw of her intimacy with Bradley - paid WmMeredith $15.52 Bal. in full plus [?] delivered to him [?] and he gave me the change [?] here all day cleaning house in new front Building 3rd story my wife assisting her and myself carrying water for them. Meredith’s boys Anderson & Matthew here in Even plastering in my office and over it heat from furnace. I spent day & Evening chiefly at home. S.A. Grissinger (shoemaker at [?] his wife here this morning to buy stove. also [?] of Middletown for his wife. all agreed to buy
