Records include a handwritten bound volume of the constitution of the Anti-Slavery Society of Harrisburg as it was established in January, 1836, with the signatures of all members; a printed copy of the Proceedings of the Harrisburg Anti-Slavery Society recording the meeting of the citizens and listing the officers elected for 1836, with a copy of the constitution and the declaration; a handwritten 38-page address, the first page on stationery from the private office of "The Preston" in Wernersville, Pennsylvania about the founding of the Society with descriptions of the men elected to office in 1836. The address is dated December, 1911, but the author is unknown.
