The Greater Harrisburg Foundation is a non-profit Community Trust organized in 1920 by the Harrisburg Chamber of Commerce. It operates in cooperation with area financial institutions for the disbursement of funds for philanthropic purposes. Its purpose is to promote innovative and worthwhile projects in the field of health, education, welfare, arts and social development. It administers charitable funds. Any person can create an individual charitable fund at any time.
