Scope and Content

A souvenir booklet of the "Tenth Biennial Convention of the Grand International Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers," provides a history of the organization which contracted with railroad companies concerning the rates of pay, rules and regulations governing overtime, treatment of employees, and established an insurance association to care for heirs of deceased members, or a member who was injured. The booklet also has a history of Harrisburg with photographs of many of the officers of the Brotherhood and scenes of the city, 1912.
