Background

Family and Children's Service of Harrisburg was incorporated in 1916. Its primary purpose is to enable, or to help, people to help themselves. Anyone in the Tri-County area without regard to race, creed or color who wishes to do so, may make use of the services of the agency. It is a voluntary or private organization, and people go to the agency by choice.
