The collection contains a commission of Peter Ensminger appointing him Captain of the Fourth Company of Foot in the Fourth Battalion of Militia in the County of Dauphin by Governor Thomas Mifflin, 1792, and a deed for a tract of land containing fifty acres in Halifax Township sold to Philip Ensminger in August, 1848.
