Booklet, "Hershey Community Archives, Oral History Program," is the account of Monroe Stover's relationship with Milton S. Hershey and his recollections of the town of Hershey in early 1900. It is the result of a tape-recorded interview which took place on September 5, 1989 conducted by Matthew Loser for the files of the Hershey Community Archives.
Background
Monroe Stover was born January 18, 1900 in Pine Grove Furnace and the family moved to Hershey in 1911. He began work at the Hershey Chocolate Company in February, 1914 at the age of 14.
