The Historical Society of Dauphin County has been in the business of preserving and presenting the history of our region for over 135 years. During all of that time the Society has called upon its membership base for much needed support. Today is no exception.

The Kelker Residence at 9 South Front
Street was our home from 1908 to 1941

Membership income provides for the preservation of archives and artifacts, for the provision of library and research services, for education programs for adults and children and for special exhibits in the John Harris-Simon Cameron Mansion. A strong membership motivates the Society to provide meaningful programs and services. It is also vital to our efforts to assure that the past is part of the present for this and future generations.

There are numerous benefits in becoming a member of HSDC. We hope you will join us in celebrating our rich and meaningful heritage and become a partner in our efforts today.
