The collection contains an invitation to S. J. Sourbeer and wife to attend the Dedicatory Ceremonies of the Capitol of Pennsylvania in Harrisburg, October 4, 1906. It lists the program for the event which includes the invocation, the transfer of the Capitol to the Commonwealth by the Building Commission with addresses by the President of the Commission and the Governor of Pennsylvania, Samuel Pennypacker, followed by an oration by Theodore Roosevelt, President of the United States and a military parade to conclude the dedication.
