Paid for marketing $1"09 Re[received] letter from Julia Ann Rawn" Nov 13/36 Phil.{Philadelphia] in answer to mine of 8th at time[?] & the last mo to DWR about Stove at McAllisters – Po"[paid] Pos[postage] 12 ½ cts – her said letter informs me that D.W. Rawn is in the [?] post Office with Atkinson Give 8 [?] at 4[?] pr [?] Ann Ellen Carson run off last night with a Mr. Gratz it is said got married ~ Bot.[bought] or intended to buy 1/3 [?] of coal [?] Swartz which they m[?] by the Bus. Allowing 28 Buckets to the [?] there for 1/3 [?] 9 1/3 Buckets – it was delo"[delivered] at my office 7 weighed by Stephen Stewart Self as he carried it in, in Shunk’s Coal Bucket that weighed 4 lbs. I weighed Six buckets which weighed 30, 33, 34, 28, 34, 36 lbs making an average of 32 ½ lbs – was 22 buckets of it equal to 715 lbs [?] deduct 88 lbs for 22. 4 lb Bucket – leaves neat 627 lbs being 119[?] lbs that of 1/3 of a [?] which was same day reprinted[?] to Jacob Anderson at their Coal Yard. Took walk from 3 ¾ to 4 ¼ P.M. 3 or 4 miles. [?] in Company put[?] way ~ re[received] of Tho.
