A bound handwritten report of coal lands in Dauphin County containing about forty-five thousand acres by James Stott, a subterraneous surveyor, with a description of the mountains, timber, game, valleys, the quantity of coal and its markets, the town of Dauphin and Coal Town, and the amount of profits the coal would yield. Includes land sketches. Report submitted to the proprietors of Dauphin Coal Company, December 12, 1827.
