Contains programs, bulletins, and brochures from 1853 to 1987 including anniversary celebrations, the extensive history of the church in printed brochures and newspaper clippings, and a booklet published in 1880 about the history of the Salem Sunday School; a photocopy of a sermon in German script by John Winebrenner written during his student days in Philadelphia, 1817-20 with a translation; original manuscripts include subscription lists in German 1805-09, in English, 1812 & 1866; correspondence, receipts, the proceedings of a Congregational meeting in May, 1866 with a list of pew holders; an account of Bibles delivered and a list of new members taken in on Easter, March 30, 1900; a notebook of the "Salem Band of Hope" with the constitution and list of names of young people who took the pledge to abstain from intoxicating beverages, 1859; the treasurer's account book for the Dorcas Society, 1832-1844; annual reports of the Salem Bible Class, 1875-1903; correspondence with a transcription of pages from a diary of a Utah missionary, 1900; papers concerning the Laymen's Missionary Movement, 1909-1910; and church bulletins for services, 1920 & 1935.
