Scope and Content

The collection contains three ledgers of stock certificates issued from 1878 to 1928 and invoices and receipts from 1876 to 1898 including a letter from Amos H. Mylin, Auditor General of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania concerning a bonus on the capital stock of the Farmers' Market Company and two liens placed upon the Company by the City of Harrisburg for payment of two assessments for water pipe along Market and Bailey Streets.

Letters Patent granted to the Farmers' Market to incorporate the company in 1902 has been added to the collection.
