This manuscript group contains materials collected by Walter D. Roos concerning flood control in Harrisburg and flood protection studies enacted after the flood of June, 1972 caused by Hurricane Agnes. They include:

A draft of the Harrisburg Local Flood Protection Study, February, 1977 which describes the ten plans for flood control on the Paxton Creek and Susquehanna River, South Harrisburg, with drawings. Details of these plans specifically affecting the John Harris Mansion are underscored in red.

Correspondence concerning flood control with two letters written by Carl B. Stoner, Jr.
