Background

The Midland Cemetery and the Baldwain Cemetery were laid out in 1876 by Josiah A. Dunkle, great- great-grandfather of the donor Beverly Ross. The receipt books were in the possession of the Dunkle family for many years, until they were donated to the Historical Society of Dauphin County in 2004.
