The collection contains the George Garverich family Bible published in Philadelphia by Lippincoot, Grambo & Company in 1854 with pages of family records of marriage, births and deaths from 1828-1928.
George Garverich and Susanna Pyfer were married in Rockville, Dauphin County in 1854; their children were Ellwood Morris, 1855, John Edwin, 1856, Emma Clasissa, 1858, Morris Pyfer, 1860, George Byron, 1863, and Minerva Catherine, 1865.
