Large scrapbook with documents of Katherine Comstock's service in France with the Red Cross during World War I with original documents such as her passport, photographs, correspondence, French postcards, and other memorabilia, 1918-1919.


Katherine Comstock was the daughter of Mrs. George S. Comstock of 241 South Fourth Street, Steelton. She attended Miss Irwin's School in Philadelphia and volunteered for overseas duty with the Red Cross. Previous to her war work she was one of the assistant librarians at the Harrisburg Public Library.
