Experience the chocolate enjoyed by Colonial Americans and learn how it was made!

On November 15, 2026, join the Historical Society of Dauphin County as we explore the fascinating and flavorful world of chocolate in Colonial America. Confectionery expert Curtis Vreeland will present on the history of chocolate making. Then, join Frederic Loraschi of Frederic Loraschi Chocolate as he leads a tasting of chocolate from Jamaica, Panama, the Dominican Republic, and Mexico. Light refreshments will be served.
