Scope and Content

The collection contains two printed programs for events, 1895 and 1921, and two printed addresses delivered to the Academy, 1899 and 1942. They are:

An invitation to and programme for the opening of their new building, and banquet held in Chestnut Street Hall, November 7, 1895

A booklet with remarks by Hugh Hamilton at the presentation of a portrait and paintings by Eli Houser Coover, April 28, 1899

The program for a Testimonial Meeting and Banquet to honor the medical officers who served in World War I, May 30, 1921

A booklet with an address, "A Sketch of the Medical History of Dauphin County," by G. L. Laverty given as retiring president of the Harrisburg Academy of Medicine, January 20, 1942.
