The collection contains two scrapbooks of news clippings.
The first contains clippings of the flood of 1936 in the Harrisburg area; and other events of the time such as the Lindbergh crime, the Dionne quintuplets, the coronation of King George, and a script of Amos 'n' Andy radio show in 1935.
The second scrapbook contains news clippings of the flood of 1972 in the Harrisburg area.
