[church] 2 Miles or so and again bet. [between] 4 and 5 P.M. about same distance. Home in Evn. [Evening] 8 ½ & to bed 9 ½.
19-2 Clear. Fine. Pleasant. Cool in morning. I walked 8 ¾ & 10 am. [ ? ] Met Board of Enrollment. Dr. G, Self. Capt. C. still sick confined to his room. Wife self and daughter walked in Evn. [Evening] after tea.
20-3 Clear. Fine. Cool in morning. Up early and at [ ? ] and stable before 7 am. Rode on horseback bet. [between] 8 & 10 am, 6 miles or so. Met Board of Enrollment. Dr. [ Chartter? ] self morning & afternoon. Capt. Clement still confined to his room. I called to see him and [ ? ] of the Board half an hour or so.

21-4 Clear. Cloudy. Pleasant. I was up early by 6 ½ am before breakfast. I rode on horseback bet. [between] 8 & 10 am. 7 or 8 miles having the dogs Jack and Jim along.

I rode on horseback from 9 to 10 am for 7 miles. Met Board of Enrollment. Dr. C. and morning and afternoon. At stable 2 PM about [ ? ]
Walked home after that with Jim and Jack. Always take them along both riding and walking. Evening chiefly at home to bed 9 ½ to 10.
