Courier Press Employees

In the 1920s, two women and a man are working on equipment at the Courier Press owned by Harry and Leon Lowengard. The Lowengard Building is at 210 North Third Street, Harrisburg. They published the first Sunday newspaper in the area, the Harrisburg Sunday Courier. During World War II, the newspaper aspect of the Courier Press quietly shut down, but the printing business continued until 1978. Photo ID: D05621-9.
