Harrisburg Transfer Company

One of the first trucks built by Morton Truck Company is being used by Harrisburg Transfer Company about 1912. The three men in the cab and the one riding on top toward the front of the truck are believed to be members of the Morton family. Along with many wooden crates and barrels are several boxes stamped "Premier Corn Flakes." At right is Philip Bongart's horse-drawn ice and water wagon, his business then being located at 1524 Derry Street. Photo ID: D02582.
