Milk Wagon

In this 1930s photo, a milk wagon belonging to Pennsylvania Milk Products Corporation appears to have broken an axle and damaged a good portion of its "Grade A" cargo. On what was a rainy day, two men observe the shattered bottles on the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Bridge (State Street Bridge) in Harrisburg. There is no indication whether or not the milk crates inside were stamped, "Illegal for non-dairy use." Photo ID: MG698-369.
